Your dentist sits with you, not over you, to hear what brought you in and what you want from your smile. No instruments, no pressure. If you're nervous, say so; it changes how we pace everything.

We look properly
A full examination of your teeth, gums, and breath health, explained in plain language as we go. You see what we see, on screen, in real words.

You get a plan
A clear plan with honest pricing before anything begins, what's urgent, what can wait, and what it costs. You decide the pace. No surprise treatment, ever.

There is no preparation to get right and nothing to feel embarrassed about. However long it has been, the visit starts the same way: with a conversation.
Your HMO card, if you have one
Or just the plan name. The front desk confirms your cover before treatment starts.
Anything you're worried about
Say it at the door or write it in your booking notes. It changes how we pace the whole visit.
Old records, only if you have them
Previous X-rays or reports help, but nothing is required. Coming in is enough.

Before you ask
I haven't seen a dentist in years. Will I be judged?
No. You'll be welcomed. Coming in is the hard part and you've done it, from there, everything is just a plan.
Will anything be done on the first visit?
Only what you agree to. Many first visits are examination and plan only. If something urgent needs attention, we'll explain it and you decide.
What should I bring?
Just yourself. If you have previous dental records or scans they help, but they are not required.
How much does a first visit cost?
You are quoted the consultation fee when you book, before you come in, and any treatment is priced in writing afterwards. Nothing is added without you agreeing to it first.
Can I use my HMO for the first visit?
Yes, for most plans. Share your HMO details when you book and the front desk confirms your cover before you arrive, so there are no surprises at the desk.
Can I bring my children along?
Please do. Glaze is a family clinic, and plenty of parents book their own check-up and the children's back to back to save a trip across Lekki.
How early should I arrive?
Ten minutes before your slot is plenty. That covers your details at the front desk and still leaves you unhurried when your dentist calls you in.
