A bright Glaze surgery where aligner scans are taken

Treatments

Clear aligners

Straighter teeth, without a mouth full of metal.

Plan and price first

Nothing begins until you agree to it.

Unhurried visits

Time to ask everything you want to ask.

HMO accepted

Nine partner health plans, billed for you.

Gentle by default

Say you're nervous and we pace it to you.

Aligners are clear, removable trays that move your teeth a fraction at a time. You take them out to eat and to clean, and most people never notice you are wearing them. They suit mild to moderate crowding particularly well. They also ask something of you: they only work while they are in, and that is the honest catch.

This is for you if

  • You want your teeth straightened without visible braces
  • Your crowding or spacing is mild to moderate
  • You can commit to wearing them most of the day, every day

Step by step

How it works

  1. 1

    Scan & plan

A digital scan of your teeth becomes a step-by-step plan. You see the projected result before you commit to it.

  2. 2

    Your trays arrive

Each tray is worn for one to two weeks. We fit the first one with you and check it sits properly.

  3. 3

    Progress checks

Short reviews to confirm the teeth are tracking the plan. If they are not, we adjust rather than press on regardless.

  4. 4

    Retention

A retainer holds the finished position, because teeth drift back given the chance. We explain how long and how often.

A closer look

Scanned, not squeezed into putty

A digital scan becomes the plan and the trays. You see the projected finish before you commit, which is the honest way to decide whether aligners suit your case at all.

Honest answers

How many hours a day must I wear them?

Around twenty to twenty-two, so realistically everything except meals and brushing. Wearing them less does not slow treatment down, it stops it working.

Will anyone notice?

Rarely. They are thin and clear. Most people find colleagues do not spot them unless told.

Are they better than braces?

Not better, different. Aligners are discreet and removable; braces handle harder cases and do not depend on you remembering. We recommend whichever your teeth actually need.

Can I drink with them in?

Water, yes. Anything hot, coloured or sugary should wait until they are out, or the trays stain and trap sugar against your teeth.

What if I lose one?

Tell us straight away and go back to the previous tray while a replacement is arranged. Do not skip ahead to the next one.
